"Annick’s contribution to HR Week Latvia was her focus on the moments when leadership gets difficult. The conversation we keep postponing, or the urge to take over when things feel uncertain.
She brought the discussion back to how our own reactions shape the way a team behaves. For me, that made her keynote on psychological flexibility particularly relevant for an HR audience supporting managers through these situations.
We would gladly welcome her back to a future edition."

The Leadership Lab: for leaders who don’t feel equipped to handle challenging situations. Together with other leaders, you'll learn to read your team, take on difficult conversations and hold your ground with toxic behaviour. That’s how you become the leader who feels at ease, and who is an inspiration for others to follow.

About Annick
When we’re challenged, we fall back on old patterns, as people, as teams and as leaders. Once we understand those patterns, we can choose who we want to be, and grow stronger because of it.
Annick Seys has worked with people in difficult situations for more than 25 years, the last 15 of them through the lens of behavioural science, with a focus on lasting change. She founded a training institute and led it for almost ten years, training thousands of psychologists and therapists in several European countries.
She co-authored three professional books on lasting behavioural change.
She began her career as a social worker, working with families facing serious challenges, and spent several years in education as a teacher, a student counsellor, and as part of the school’s pedagogical leadership.
Today, she brings all of that expertise together in her keynotes, enriched with examples from her own life and from the leaders she works with. She blends science with story, and humour with honesty.
